AMP has announced two Queensland-based appointments within its IFA and Alliances Distribution Wealth Protection sales team.
Kevin Canning has been appointed Regional Leader Business Development Manager, Queensland, from 1 June. He joins AMP from dealer group, Millennium 3, where he was Head of Key Accounts.
Mr Canning’s background includes experience as ING’s Head of Sales and Marketing and State Manager for Queensland and Western Australia.
Reece Fosterjoined AMP’s Queensland team on 7 June in the role of Business Development Manager. Mr Foster also comes to AMP from Millennium 3, where he was an insurance-focused authorised representative of the dealer group.
AMP advises both these appointments are additional appointments to the existing unit, as it seeks to expand its footprint in Queensland’s independent adviser and alliances market place.
