New Online Service Helps Advisers Sell Advice

Leading Minds Academy has launched a new online service that is designed to help advisers discover the lost art of soft selling skills within a fee for service advice framework.

Called the Price of Advice, Leading Minds defines its service as an ‘… online video client engagement training program’ in which it says advisers will progressively:

  • Learn how to engage with prospects
  • Take them through a series of qualification and disqualification steps
  • Develop rapport and empathy
  • Establish trust leading to their conversion to client status

The Academy says its sales training program, which comprises 16 separate modules, draws heavily on the knowledge of experienced advisers who have already made a successful transition to a fee based model.

The program undertakes to train advisers how to become a price maker rather than a price taker…

The program undertakes to train advisers how to become a price maker rather than a price taker, and also seeks to show advisers how to:

  • Qualify prospects
  • Eliminate low quality leads
  • Turn difficult prospects into clients
  • Create rapport and avoid the many mistakes people make
  • Develop permission points
  • Present prices/fees effectively and without resistance

The Academy adds this service is unique in the industry and is the ‘missing link’ that offers a training strategy to deal with life after commissions.

Co-founder and Principal of Leading Minds Academy, Brian Boggs, told riskinfo he believes advice has a price and should not be given away: “This programme shows advisers how to sell advice,” he said.
