National Australia Bank has announced the elevation of Andrew Hagger, Head of MLC and NAB Wealth’s Insurance business, to the role of NAB Group Executive, Corporate Affairs and Marketing.
Effective from 1 October 2010, Mr Hagger will represent marketing, brand, sponsorships, events, community and corporate responsibility, corporate affairs and government affairs and public policy on the Bank’s Group Executive Committee.
Mr Hagger joined NAB in 2008 following a twenty-year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
MetLife Appointments
MetLife has announced two key appointments into their Institutional division this week:
Peter D Smith has been appointed to head up Institutional Distribution, while the insurer’s Business Development Manager, Jonathon Kelly, has been promoted to the role of Head of Institutional Relationship Management.
Commenting on the appointments, MetLife Chief Marketing and Distribution Officer, Eric Reisenwitz, said “Peter will lead the team to achieve overall group insurance growth. Peter brings a unique customer perspective to our business through his direct contact with employers and his broad knowledge of the employee benefits and superfund markets will greatly enhance our ability to build on our Institutional distribution strategy.
“Jonathan will be responsible for our overall development of customer relationship management capabilities and responsible for the retention and growth strategies of our existing Institutional customers,” said Mr Reisenwitz.
