Andrew Shakespeare Wins AFA Rising Star

New South Wales adviser Andrew Shakespeare is the 2010 winner of  the AFA Rising Star Award.

The Award, announced at the end of the first day of the 2010 AFA National Conference on the Gold Coast, recognises the best new adviser talent in the industry and was won by Mr Shakespeare for his outstanding contribution across four key areas:

  • Providing financial advice
  • Business acumen
  • Community service
  • Industry service

Mr Shakespeare provides advice through licensee Matrix for JSA Financial Planning Group.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning.

Prior to joining JSA, Mr Shakespeare worked with one of the major life offices and has over seven years of financial planning expertise.

In accepting his Award, Mr Shakespeare acknowledged his fellow finalists, remarking on the quality of the individuals and the excellence of their own advice businesses.  The other finalists were:

He is the future of our profession.”
