Launch of New Risk Adviser Forums

Two new discussion forums dedicated to the life insurance industry have been launched by Melbourne-based adviser, Aaron Zelman.

In recent months, Mr Zelman, an associate partner at specialist risk advice firm, Priority Life, has launched a blog facility open to all advisers and other industry contributors as well as a discussion forum via Linked in.

The blog site, riskblog.com.au, offers an opportunity for advisers to log and discuss any issues impacting their business.  Recent blogs include:

  • Discussing the merits of social networking versus ‘traditional’ networking
  • Dealing with general insurance enquiries
  • Risk insurance options for those aged over 60
  • Dealing with intimidating clients

The Linked in group created by Mr Zelman is called Australian Risk Advisers.  It is open to advisers who are registered users of the Linked in business network.  It’s purpose is to generate a forum for advisers to discuss current issues as well as develop network opportunities with fellow advisers via the Linked in network.

According to Mr Zelman, this group is a meeting place for risk advisers to voice their questions and share their professional insights.

Mr Zelman encourages advisers to join and contribute to these two discussion and networking sites.
