A new website service has been launched for the purpose of assisting advisers become more successful and build a more profitable business.
This service was launched by AIA Australia’s New South Wales State Manager, Vicki Writer. Called Vicki Writer Builds My Business, the site offers an array of services that are designed to enhance business growth, including:
- Sales training
- How to maximise the benefits associated with centres of influence
- How to develop referral-based businesses
- Customer presentations
- Lead letter samples
- Other tools and templates designed for the adviser and his/her support team
The free website service is Ms Writer’s own initiative (supported by her employer) motivated by her desire to contribute to an industry she has served for the last twenty years.
Ms Writer told riskinfo her aim is to “… develop a community where people can share ideas in order to assist other advisers and help them to become more successful.”
The web service will also feature continuously updated material, adviser interviews and opportunities for advisers to share their thoughts through issues blogs and forums.
Ms Writer said advisers have told her they can feel isolated in their business and the nature of her new online support service allows them to connect with other advisers with whom they would not otherwise have contact. She said advisers will also benefit from accessing information about current industry issues and trends that will have value for them in their efforts to build a successful practice.
