Professional Investment Services (PIS) and Australian Financial Services Group (AFS) have both announced senior appointments to their regional teams.
PIS has appointed Barry Strapps as Practice Development Manager, to support the group’s South Australian businesses. Mr Strapps has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry, including roles with AMP and Asteron.
Mr Strapps said he was looking forward to returning to a hands-on role in practice management, and assisting PIS practices in South Australia to build and grow their businesses.
Also announced is the appointment by AFS of Jim Ivester to the role of Western Australia and South Australia Regional Manager.
Mr Ivester was most recently the Business Partnership Manager for AMP Financial Planning in Perth, and has worked with Godfrey Pembroke, Apogee and Garvan.
AFS CEO and Managing Director, Peter Daly, said the appointment reflected the dealer group’s commitment and determination to provide service and support at a local and accessible level.
