NAB has appointed former AMP advice executive Tim Steele to the role of General Manager of its salaried advice business, NAB Financial Planning (NABFP).
Steele, who was previously Managing Director of AMP-aligned advice businesses ipac & Genesys until from February 2013 to October 2015, will start with NABFP from 4 April. Prior to that Steele was the Director of AMP Horizons which covered AMP’s training academy and advice group of the same name.
Steele takes over the role from Paul Fog who has into a new role of project director, future advice strategy at NAB Wealth which has been described as bringing the banking and wealth parts of the NAB Group closer together.
NAB, Executive General Manager, Wealth Advice, Greg Miller, said Steele has a track record of leading large advice teams. At present NABFP has 500 advisers operating from 200 locations offering advice to the banks personal and business customers.
