The AIA Australia Executive Wellness program will run as a 12 week program with a national trial program running until mid August, after which it will be assessed for a national rollout next year.

Under the program advisers will be coached on the areas of personal health and wellbeing, the health of their business and the wellness of their clients through a lifestyle and wellbeing advice offer.

Advisers who take part in the trial program will be coached around the areas of client segmentation, developing client value propositions and building a health and wellness framework into their advice and service offerings.

“As a dedicated financial adviser today it can be easy to forget your own health and wellbeing while helping clients achieve their financial wellbeing”

While the program will focus on personal productivity, business strategies and engaging with clients, advisers will also receive similar coaching on healthy habits in exercise and eating as that received by their clients who use the AIA Vitality program.

AIA Australia, Chief Retail Insurance Offer, Pina Sciarrone, said the initiative was aimed at helping advisers become more effective in their work while remaining healthy and happy in their professional and personal life.

“Financial advisory practice principals face significant challenges in running a small business, including adapting to regulatory change, new technology and competition. As a dedicated financial adviser today it can be easy to forget your own health and wellbeing while helping clients achieve their financial wellbeing,” Sciarrone said.
