Advisers using ANZ Wealth’s OneCare insurance quoting software will be able to receive direct data feeds from financial advice software XPLAN under a new arrangement between the bank and XPLAN owner, Iress.
Under the arrangement, the data feeds will pre-populate OneCare’s Illustrator software with quote information taken directly from XPLAN, which will be followed by data feeds of OneCare client and policy information to XPLAN later this year.
ANZ Wealth Head of Life Insurance, Gerard Kerr said the data feeds would save advisers time when preparing quotes for OneCare insurance cover and was something that had been in demand by advisers.
“This next step will mean advisers can easily transfer details of existing OneCare clients and policy information into XPLAN, removing another manual step from the process and providing advisers with increased back office efficiencies,” Kerr said.
IRESS Wealth Management Managing Director, Tizzy Vigilante the data feeds were part of the company’s efforts to expand the XPLAN platform through integration with other system and to deliver new efficiencies to financial advisers.
