MLC Life Insurance has released a set of enhancements for its now-closed Personal Protection Portfolio and Protectionfirst product ranges.
Taking effect from 1 November 2019, the passed-back enhancements comprise medical and product terms updates centred mostly around critical illness definitions.
While the focus of the enhancements is on critical illness definitions, updates have also been applied for Life, TPD and Income Protection policy benefits.
The insurer has released a summary of the changes for advisers, which are also documented in Supplementary Product Disclosure Statements:
MLC Life Insurance has also released a new Product Disclosure Statement for its on-sale MLC Insurance range, but has confirmed that the only change in its current series has been the removal of its Accidental Death insurance option.
