Remote October Exam Sitting Option for Melbourne Advisers

Advisers who have registered for a Melbourne physical location FASEA exam will have the option to sit the exam online or defer to November or later sitting, says FASEA.

A statement from the authority says that following the re-imposition of Stage 4 stay at home restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne and the continued closure of exam venues,  Melbourne metropolitan physical location exams will not be offered for the October sitting.

It adds that at this stage the Bendigo exam location will continue to be offered to advisers in regional Victoria.

FASEA notes that this measure is being taken in light of the evolving Covid-19 pandemic situation in Victoria and in the interests of all involved with the exam.

The exam administrator (ACER) will contact candidates registered for October Melbourne metropolitan exam sittings to explain their options to sit the exam and it requests candidates ensure their email addresses are up to date in the registration system to facilitate this contact.

FASEA concludes that it continues to monitor and will act upon the advice of the Federal and State Governments.
