Integrity Life has announced Sean McCormack as its new Chief Executive Officer.
McCormack currently holds the position of Chief of Life Insurance at MLC Life Insurance and will join Integrity Life next year.
He replaces previous incumbent, Chris Powell, who retired mid-year following a 40-year career in the life insurance and financial services sector.
A release announcing his appointment notes McCormack “…is exceptionally well regarded in the industry with experience that spans the full lifecycle and value chain of the life insurance market.”
The release adds McCormack has a specific interest in enabling life insurance advice through technology, which makes him “…uniquely suited to Integrity, a life insurer that has recognised the benefits of a digital offering when providing a more transparent and Adviser-focused experience.”
McCormack commences with Integrity Life on 22 March 2021, when he will take the reins from company CFO, Lesley Mamelok, who has been Acting CEO since Powell’s departure.
