ASIC has released the schedule for the final three sets of sitting dates for its 2022 financial adviser exam series.

Two main blocs of sitting dates have been scheduled in May and July, with one final exam offered towards the end of the year in early November.

A table of the exam schedule, sourced from the ASIC website, is set out below:

These exams have all been scheduled to accommodate advisers who had twice attempted and failed what was the FASEA adviser exam by the close of 2021.

At the time of the announcement of the 2022 exams in June last year, the Minister for Superannuation, Financial Services and the Digital Economy, Jane Hume, positioned these additional exam opportunities as a set of very limited changes to the FASEA exam requirements which acknowledged “…the effects of a one-in-100 year pandemic and the disruption it has caused to lives and businesses” (see: Limited Extension to FASEA Exam Requirements Announced…).
