New Alliance for Bombora Advice and MBS Insurance

Bombora Advice partner MBS Insurance has obtained its own AFSL but the two firms will continue the relationship, with MBS accessing all Bombora’s B2B wholesale services and facilities.

In congratulating MBS, Bombora Founder and Managing Director Wayne Handley, says the firm joined Bombora in 2015 and is a founding practice and equity partner of the national risk advice group. MBS’s Founding Partner Kris Mason will continue as member of the Bombora board.

MBS Insurance’s AFSL came into effect on 1 August 2022 and Handley says that both groups “…will continue their close professional and operational relationship under a new alliance arrangement.”

Mason says this  is an exciting milestone for MBS “…and we are very positive about the future and potential we will realise by operating under our own license.”

MBS was established in 2006 as a risk specialist advisory practice.
