Launch of Risk Hub

A new support platform service for the risk insurance market – Risk Hub – has been launched.

According to founder and long-time life insurance industry contributor, Marc Fabris, Risk Hub aims to centralise resources and provide a collaborative space for advisers, insurers and service providers to connect, learn, and grow.

Predominantly operating as a free service to assist advisers, Fabris says the platform aims to lessen the challenges faced by advisers when delivering risk advice.

Above all, according to Fabris, the new platform aims to:

  • Save time for advisers
  • Make it easier to find answers
  • Locate support partners
  • Find insurer information

“The issues impacted on risk insurance advice and the shortage of those providing advice, are well reported. Help is needed,” says Fabris.

Initially offering a curated selection of resources, a statement accompanying the release of the service notes that as the platform gains momentum, its aim is to “…expand rapidly and build a comprehensive library of resources that empower advisers with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to excel in risk insurance advice.”

The release summarises key elements delivered within the Risk Hub service as including:

  • Service Directory: A comprehensive directory of service providers that cater to the needs of practices, facilitating referrals and connections
  • Forums and Learning Centre: Interactive forums where advisers can engage in discussions, share insights, and learn from their peers, creating a collaborative and supportive community
  • Insurer Hub: Access to key Insurer contact information and links, and for engaged insurers the opportunity to amplify their key messages and educational content – fostering a strong partnership between advisers and insurers
  • Webinars and Events: Regular webinars and Q&A sessions featuring experts on various topics, covering digital technology, business succession, and more
  • Articles and Resources: A growing library of insightful articles and resources, providing up-to-date information and expert insights to enhance advisers’ capabilities

Fabris notes his platform proposition has already secured support from industry stakeholders, including PPS Mutual and MLC Life Insurance as well as from licensees, advisers and industry associations, together with support from principal sponsor, iExtend.

Fabris envisions Risk Hub as becoming the ‘go-to’ platform for risk insurance, “…uniting professionals and fostering a passionate adviser community dedicated to safeguarding clients’ assets.”
