Health evaluation provider, SG Health Solutions, is reporting an increase to its roster of medical personnel as it continues to expand its national footprint.

Originally commencing services for clients resident in metropolitan Sydney and Melbourne, SG Health Solutions MD, Graeme Wingrove, says consulting nurses have now been retained across all six states, thereby significantly expanding the reach of the business and its ability to service advisers’ clients who are located in both city and regional locations.

Wingrove told Riskinfo he regularly receives feedback from advisers about frustration with their inability to secure a timely and efficient process to arrange underwriting and claims medical tests and reports for clients living in regional areas.

Seeking to accommodate as many consumers as it can, the provider now has medical personnel based in every state capital city as well as in regional areas including Canberra, Coffs Harbour and Cairns.

Wingrove says people  might not be familiar with towns such as Rainbow, Goolgowi, North Beach, Wagga Wagga, Butchers Creek, Wurtulla and Port Douglas “…however, these are places the SG Team is capable of visiting—and we have done so within a week.

…We ensured our nurse saw the farmer at a time that best suited them…

“For instance, a couple from Goolgowi, who are dedicated farmers preparing next year’s crops, could only spare half an hour away from their tractor. We ensured our nurse saw the farmer at a time that best suited them.”

In noting the agenda to continue to expand his firm’s national reach, Wingrove has reiterated the importance of digital and online process efficiencies in seeking to improve turn-around times for underwriting tests and other consultations which must, by their nature, be conducted in-person.

To that end, Wingrove referenced the mobile service offered by SG Health Solutions – where the provider will visit the client’s home or business to conduct the test or examination – as well as the online booking system it offers to advisers and their support colleagues to arrange the medical consultation appointments.
