Adviser numbers have edged back up to reach just over 15,500, according to Wealth Data’s latest analysis.
Writing in his latest Financial Adviser Market Insights, Colin Williams says this week, the fluctuating financial adviser market saw a net increase of 16 advisers “…bringing the total back up above 15,500 to 15,512.”
He says a number of advisers formally reported their move to new licensees and, additionally, there were four new licensees, no closures, and eight new entrants.
The net change in adviser numbers for the 2024 calendar year to date sits at a loss of 113 while the net change in the financial year to date sees a gain of 169 advisers.
