During our recent Riskinfocus 25 event series …this question led to a range of different outcomes
During our recent Riskinfocus 25 event series, however, this question led to a range of different outcomes. When asked the question at four of the six Riskinfocus 25 events, the majority of advisers opposed the idea of life insurance solutions being delivered under a general advice structure. This was balanced at the other two venues – Hobart and Sydney – where the majority was in favour.
There is clearly a divide among the adviser community as to your position on this issue, where it appears the emerging general advice AFSL firms may be well served by seeking to share more details about how this growing proposition can operate while adhering to all compliance requirements and continuing to serve the best interests of the client.
Where do you stand on this question? Our poll remains open for another week, so there’s still time to cast your vote and share your views…
