Acenda is offering hardship support, including a premium waiver of up to three months, for eligible customers affected by the floods on the NSW mid-north coast that have so far cost the lives of four people.

The firm is asking financial advisers with impacted clients, who may be facing financial difficulties, to contact Acenda to discuss support options.

In addition to hardship support, the firm is offering counselling and online health resources via its health and wellbeing service, Vivo, for customers and financial advisers.

NSW State Emergency Service and emergency service partners are continuing to support communities along the Hunter and mid north coast impacted by floods which have so far left four people dead, one person is reported missing, and 50,000 people cut off.

Michael Downey, Acenda’s GM Distribution said: “Natural disasters can bring unexpected stress and financial challenges. I encourage financial advisers with clients who may be experiencing financial hardship to contact us directly to discuss available support.”

Advisers can call Acenda on 13 65 22 for more information.
