Confident Pricing Conversations – Webinar

0

A webinar aims to help advisers and practice managers improve pricing discipline and increase fee transparency for clients.

The initiative follows proposed reforms from Financial Services Minister Daniel Mulino, including potential caps on superannuation advice fees, cooling-off periods for fund switches, and licensing requirements for lead generators.

Julie Matheson, founder of Finwise Leadership, said the changes could further compress margins already strained by compliance costs.

Under ASIC standards, advisers must ensure fees are clear, fair and reasonable. However, Matheson believes inconsistent pricing models are common, adding that unclear pricing is no longer just a compliance risk but a trust issue.

“The government is calling for capped fees and affordability, while layering on more compliance that increases delivery costs,” said Matheson.

In response, Matheson has partnered with adviser coach Steve Salvia to deliver a webinar Thursday 5 March 10am (Perth time) promoting structured, team-wide pricing frameworks. Click here to register.
