AZ NGA has acquired advisory firm Intend Financial, adding 10 advisers and four offices across Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Intend Financial was formed in 2021 through the merger of three financial planning businesses and has since expanded through acquisitions and organic growth, according to AZ NGA. It employs 20 staff, most based in Victoria.
Intend Financial provides financial advice in superannuation, retirement planning, investments, insurance and estate planning. The business is led by principals John Moran, Zach McArthur, Jesse Nihill, Yihsing Koo and Ben Buchanan.
Intend Financial director John Moran said the transaction would provide access to additional resources and support continued growth, while maintaining its existing client service model.
AZ NGA chief growth officer Chesne Stafford said the firm had grown quickly since its formation and had integrated multiple businesses.
