Medical services provider, Unified Healthcare Group (UHG), has launched a new platform service for advisers and insurers.

Called Unifier, this new online platform manages and tracks the progress of outstanding medical requirements for all clients and all insurers in one place.

Unifier is intended by UHG to set a new benchmark in quality and efficiency for the collection and reporting of all medical information associated with underwriting and claims requirements.

an adviser … can now … track the progress of all blood tests, medical examinations and PMA Reports

The firm says that an adviser or his/her support staff can now log in to Unifier and will be able to track the progress of all blood tests, medical examinations and PMA Reports requested through UHG, across different insurers.

UHG’s Executive Manager of Client Services, Dr Jack Cygler said “Unifier was designed to improve the experience of Advisers and their support teams.”

“Requesting, tracking, and managing clients’ requirements are set to become easier and more efficient,” said Dr Cygler.

The services of UHG are already used by a number of insurers as an outsourced solution for their tele-underwriting or other medical information collection requirements.

UHG also notes that the launch of its Unifier service is the start of a series of improvements that will be rolled out by the firm over the course of 2010.
