Count Financial has announced that Andrew Gale will become the firm’s new CEO and Managing Director.
Mr Gale joins Count from Deloitte, where he was Managing Partner of the company’s Actuaries and Consulting division. Prior to Deloitte, Mr Gale held senior executive roles in distribution, financial planning, marketing, strategy and divisional/general management with MLC and AMP.
Mr Gale takes over from Marianne Perkovic, who left Count late last year to take up a general management role with Colonial First State’s Distribution division.
CommInsure Exec Appointment
Meanwhile, the executive appointments continue within the life companies, with the announcement of Mark Woodwardas CommInsure’s new Head of Wholesale Risk Distribution.
Mr Woodward’s is an internal CommInsure appointment, where he previously held the position of Executive Manager of Retail Banking Services Distribution.
Commenting on this appointment, CommInsure’s, General Manager, Market Development and Distribution, Graham Putt, said: “This position has attracted a lot of interest and I am delighted to announce the appointment of an internal candidate to the role.”
“Mark’s breadth of skills and experience will prove a great asset to the business as he works with our existing wholesale insurance clients and the wider market,” said Mr Putt.
