Australian Group Insurances (AGI) has launched a new website resource designed to make life easier for the group insurance sector.
Offering advisers the ability to obtain group life, TPD and salary continuance quotations, the service caters for corporate groups of 12 or more insured members where gross annual premiums exceed $5,000.
Underwritten by AIA Australia, the AGI service offers two key products:
- An employee corporate benefits plan
- A risk only super solution
In addition to providing quotes, AGI says advisers can download forms and brochures necessary for administering their clients’ group plans, including:
- Product information booklets
- Underwriting forms
- Claim forms
AGI adds that adviser manuals and tools to help advisers grow their group portfolio will also be made available.
In a message to the broader adviser community, AGI suggests this level of service represents an opportunity not just for established grup risk writers, but also retail insurance advisers who may previously have steered clear of the group risk insurance market.
