AFA Appoints Marketing Manager

The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) has appointed Alexandra Russell to the newly created role of Marketing and Strategy Manager.

“I am delighted to have Alexandra on the leadership team,” said AFA CEO Richard Klipin.  “Her knowledge of the advice industry, proven success in providing quality marketing campaigns and professionalism will be invaluable in taking the AFA to the next level of its development.”

Mr Klipin said the role would be focused on strengthening the AFA brand, and building the value proposition for the association.

Ms Russell previously worked in insurance marketing for OnePath, where she worked closely with the AFA promoting their Rising Star of the Year Award (which is sponsored by the insurer).

“I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed working alongside the AFA,” said Ms Russell.  “I’m now very enthusiastic to join the team and add value to their existing and new marketing campaigns.”
