Fortnum announced it had recruited BTFG National Manager – Practice Advice, Kerry Thomas to take on the newly created role as part of an ongoing restructure across the group.

Thomas comes to the role after 15 years in financial services, having spent the last nine years in a range of roles at BTFG or other Westpac owned businesses, and will be responsible for delivering Fortnum’s professional advice program to its network of advisers.

The appointment of Thomas, who will report to Fortnum Managing Director, Joel Taylor, comes as the group also announced the appointment of Cassandra Mackay to the role of Practice Technology Manager, who was previously Digital Advice Manager at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.

Fortnum Financial Group Chief Executive and Managing Director, Neil Younger said the appointments were part of a restructure designed to strengthen and streamline the processes used by advisers, with Thomas to lead the delivery of new advice initiatives across the group.
