Southern Cross University and the Australian Institution of Management have been recognised in FASEA’s confirmed approval of the following degrees, which it says meet its education standards:
- Any bachelor with a major in Financial Services offered by Southern Cross University commencing March 2021.
- Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning offered by the Australian Institute of Management (AIM) commencing May 2021.
The authority has also approved the following bridging courses offered by the Australian Institute of Management from 2nd semester 2021:
- Financial Advice Regulatory and Legal Obligations
- Ethics for Professional Advisers
- Behavioural Finance
FASEA notes its approvals are recognition of the alignment of the listed courses with FASEA’s required curriculum and standards.
It adds that since 2017 it has “…approved a wide range of courses that meet required curriculum standards including 78 Historical Courses, 66 current Bachelor or higher degrees and 36 Bridging courses.”
