Hillross and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) have announced senior appointments this week.

AMP-owned dealer group Hillross announced it has completed a series of senior appointments, designed to boost the level of regionalised support to its network of advisers.

Twelve adviser network roles are to be based in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, with a larger team in Melbourne to support South Australia and Tasmania.

Speaking about the appointments, Hillross Managing Director, Hugh Humphrey, said: “As affluent clients can have more complex needs, our practices value localised, accessible support from Hillross.

“We are confident we now have the capacity and scalable resources to broaden our adviser network across the country,” he added.

The key appointments include:

  • Monique Moore, Head of Financial Planning, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania
  • Hamish Trumbull, Business Partnership Manager, Queensland
  • Robin Memory, Business Partnership Manager, Tasmania and Victoria
  • James Grant, Business Partnership Manager, South Australia and Victoria
  • Elwyn Moyser, Business Partnership Manager, Western Australia.

In other news, ANZIIF has appointed Tony Morgan, National Executive Adjuster with Cunningham Lindsay, as the President of the Institute.  He is joined by new Deputy President Jonathon Fox, General Manager – Insurance Operations, Elders Insurance.

Mr Morgan, who has worked in the industry for 35 years, said his main focus was on developing the education and professional development services the Institute provides.

“It is a great privilege to serve as President for an Institute that has such a rich history and such a significant future,” Mr Morgan said.

ANZIIF also appointed two new Board Directors:

  • Pauline Blight-Johnston, Managing Director, RGA Reinsurance
  • Steve Nevett, Chairman of the Pacific Region, Aon Risk Solutions.
