The hub was first launched in October 2015 ahead of the proposed introduction of the Life Insurance Framework and offered transition tools for advisers as well as a range of information on strategies and services, and technical information.

The relaunched site offers online access and management of policies as well as forms, guides and brochures related to advice or insurance products.

Access to a panel of industry consultants in the areas marketing, client engagement, human resources, cash flow management and technical training has also been included on the Hub with AIA Australia Chief Retail Insurance Officer, Pina Sciarrone stating the insurer was focused on being a major business partner to risk advisers.

“The business of running a professional financial advisory practice is more competitive than ever before. Practice principals who want to create a more sustainable future business model are looking for value-added support and services,” Sciarrone said.

“While we don’t intend to tell any financial adviser how to run their business we have a valuable role to play in bringing expertise and resources to an adviser’s business.”
