Data platform provider, CDM Solutions has announced it has completed an independent security audit and assessment, which it says has confirmed its policies and procedures are aligned with the APRA-regulated CPS234 standard, together with ISO international standard 27001.
Following the outcome of this audit, the insurance policy data service notes it will be obtaining its official ISO certificate in the first quarter of 2024, as it seeks to address and resolve critically important privacy issues related to the sharing of client policy data between insurers, licensee networks and individual advice practices.
CDM has also advised it is set to launch an Open API later this month for all eligible providers that meet its security requirements, which it says effectively means any CRM that seeks to access data from CDM’s system network will be able to do so.
