OnePath Frequent Flyer Program Reaches New Heights

More than 15,000 OnePath insurance customers have been issued with Qantas Frequent Flyer points in the first six months of the program, the insurer has announced.

OnePath says that its partnership with the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, which commenced in November last year, has already credited more than 18 million points to insured customers.

According to OnePath’s Head of Product Marketing and Reinsurance, Gerard Kerr, the program represents a significant value-add to insurance clients, and is a point of differentiation for the insurer.

“The Qantas alliance is designed to reward policy holders and provide them with an immediate tangible benefit.  Policy holders earn points for every dollar of life insurance premium paid,” Mr Kerr said.

“The program has also proven to be a valuable support tool for advisers.  It reinforces the advice proposition to new clients while adding ongoing service value to existing clients,” he added.

OnePath has an exclusive arrangement with the airline, which allows it to offer Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to new and existing policy holders.
